Last-minute crafts
'Cause, you know, I didn't have enough to do what with getting ready for Texas and all - but actually I saw these little rag bracelets on whipup.net and they take about three minutes to make and I have absurd amounts of scraps around.

Betsy, I'm so bummed I didn't get to say "smell you later" over coffee or something before you left. My brain defaults to the Chicago Public School schedule, so I thought, "la la la, she and Ben won't be leaving until Labor Day weekend because school starts in September." Totally not taking into account that you are teaching higher edumacation and driving 1/2 way across the country with your dog and a bunch of other crap.
